Why ‘A Very Important Thing’ Will Come to AMC Rent Theater in 2017

AMC rents theaters across the country, and this year will be the first to see the first-ever ‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’ theater.

As with most years, the AMC rental chain is releasing a handful of trailers to whet the appetite of moviegoers, and while there are a few highlights from the film, it’s the trailers that are the real stars.

Here are five things to look for in 2017.


The New ‘Star Trek: The Next Generation’ Trailer: Here’s the trailer for Star Trek: First Contact, the next installment in the sci-fi series.

The trailer shows a new look for Captain Kirk, played by Justin Lin, and Spock (Leonard Nimoy), who returns to Earth to explore the possibility of a cure for the mysterious disease known as the “replicator.”

The trailer ends with Spock (played by Zachary Quinto) and Spock’s son, Miles, who are shown at a conference with the Federation Council.

This trailer shows off what we’ll be seeing in the movie, and we’ll have more to say about it soon.


‘Star War: The Force Awakens’ Trailer Explores First-Ever ‘Star Battle’ Event In ‘Star WARS: The Clone Wars’ The first trailer for ‘Star Empire: The New Order’ shows a first look at a battle sequence that takes place on the Death Star’s planet.

We also get to see some new faces like Captain Phasma (Mikael Taylor) and General Hux (Derek Jacobi) who are on the front lines of the Battle of Jakku, a battle that is set to begin shortly in the film.


‘The Dark Tower: The Dark Tower’ Poster Gets New Art: Here are the posters for the upcoming film The Dark Towers: The Final Chapter, in theaters on July 10, 2017.

It features the iconic artwork of famed director Roland Emmerich, who also wrote the screenplay for ‘The Gunslinger.’

It’s not just a set piece, but an entire piece of cinema, and one that will be revisited in the new film.


‘Avengers: Infinity War’ Trailer Gets New Video: Here is the latest trailer for the forthcoming film Avengers: Infinity Wars, in which we see Captain America, the Hulk, Iron Man, Black Widow and the rest of the Avengers team, as they battle the Thanos Empire.
