China’s largest movie theater operator, Beijing Cinemas, said it will open a theater in New York in December 2019, a move that would be the first U.A.E. theater to open.
The announcement came in a conference call with analysts and analysts from financial news sites.
Cinemas said the company will open the movie theater in the Queens borough of New York’s Manhattan neighborhood.
The chain plans to open movie theaters in other U.K. cities in 2021.

The company has about 10,000 movie theaters across the U and E.U. and more than 100,000 cinemas in China, according to a statement.
The company will operate three movie theaters at the Queens site, with a fourth opening in 2020, according, according the statement.
The news comes as the Chinese economy grows, and as its movie industry continues to gain strength.
The U.N. said last month that movie attendance fell by 9% in 2020 from the previous year, the biggest drop in decades.
The New York Times reported this week that Chinese officials have agreed to lift the 10% movie tax on film productions in 2020 to 5% from 5% in 2019.
The U.E.-based company has a long history in the entertainment industry.
Last year, it announced plans to build a new movie theater on the site of a former factory in the eastern city of Wuhan.
